The purpose of this article is to help to familiarize you with our brand new Ticket Management interface in the MyRacePass Online Tickets tab. This Article will also help serve as an overview of the features.
You can browse to the Online Tickets tab by clicking on the Ticket Icon in your tabs list on the left-hand side of the screen. You'll then find the new Ticket Management Interface by clicking on the "Tickets" option from the list that appears.
This article will be broken into two sections focusing on the two new interfaces that have been created. You'll see the new ticket management interface, as well as the new ticket event view.
New Ticket Management Screen
We'll provide information on the Filtering Panel on the left and of course the main part of the Ticket Interface.
Left Hand Filtering Panel
In this panel there are 6 options you can use to filter the event tickets.
- Order By. This option will allow you to sort the tickets by event date, either by most recent or by oldest event date.
- Visibility. This filter will allow you to sort by ticket status for the event to more easily show tickets that are active, disabled, or archived.
- On Sale. Here you can easily see which upcoming tickets you've put on sale, and which event tickets are still not available for purchase.
- Publicly Listed. This option will show tickets that are or are not hidden from public view.
- Needs attention. If this box is checked, only tickets from past events that have funds that are not confirmed or refunded will appear. This is a great option to go in and see which events you need to do something with to get your money!
- Has a ticket map. This check box will show only events that have some kind of ticket map attached. That could be for Pit Stalls, Grandstands, Camping, or any other map graphic we have created.
At the very top of this panel is the option to add new tickets to a new event as well.
Main Ticket Interface
On this Screen there are 6 columns of information on display.
- Event Name. The checkbox to the left of the event name will allow you to use the mass editing tools highlighted above, and the event name will serve as a link to each event to edit that ticket.
- Action Required Indicator. This indicator will appear for an event if the event date is in the past, and the ticket money has not been claimed or refunded.
- Event Date. The date of the event this ticket is associated with.
- Payout Status. You can see the status of the ticket money, either pending, completed, or refunded.
- Visibility. This field will show if the ticket is active, archived, disabled, or pending.
- Sales. This is a snapshot of how many tickets have been purchased for this date. It will also serve as a link to your customers report for the event.
New Event Ticket Screen
There are six sections in the new Event Ticket interface. Ticket Payout Status, Details, Event, Ticket Types, Pass Lists, and Images.
1. Ticket Payout Status. This section will allow you to either confirm or refund the event, allowing the ticket money to either be sent to your bank account or be refunded to all ticket buyers.
2. Details. This section will allow you to edit the ticket name, description, availability dates, and if the tickets are visible and available for purchase.
3. Event. You can confirm which event the tickets are linked to.
4. Ticket Types. Here you can add or remove what types of tickets you want to sell. You can also customize the name of that ticket type, set the number available, the price, and an optional pre-sale price.
5. Pass List. Here you can add a pass list to your events with a ticket map applied for the purposes of ticket renewals or simply blocking off spots.
6, Images. This section will allow a custom poster to be listed when purchasing tickets, or also an image printed on the ticket to be used as an advertisement or coupon. This also works well for event logos.
In addition to these six sections, you can also view the sales report and share the ticket link to social media at the bottom of the screen.
