What is featured content?
Featured content, or featured news, is an attribute of news posts that allows site owners to designate "sticky" posts.
The most recent featured posts are displayed at the top of the news page, and in most cases on the home page of the website.
Featured posts require at least one image and are indicated by a gold star on the news admin page to the right of the news description.
You can toggle a news article as "featured" when editing the article. Look to the top of the screen to find that option:
