I can say in most parts of the country, unfortunately winter is coming. For those of you who are still racing down South, remember to enjoy it a little more for the rest of us! I want to send out an update for a few things as we come to the close of a season, and give you a little bit of new information as well.
Just Say No to Duplicate Drivers/Profiles
First off, we are noticing a lot of duplicate drivers out there, and a lot of drivers who need their name updated or hometowns updated. If you have a duplicate driver (someone who has two profiles) send them to me to get merged! If you have a driver who needs their name or hometown changed, there are two ways to make that happen.
We’ve developed a new look contact list page! Now when you go to the contact list you’ll see a brand new interface. You can use this page to edit driver and owner address and contact information. Use the filters and searches on the left to find exactly who you are looking for. There are CSV export and printing options on this page as well. As a heads up, the owners show on the top of the list by default, then the drivers under them.

If you have a duplicate driver (someone who has two profiles) send them to me to get merged! If you have a driver who needs their name or hometown changed, there are two ways to make that happen.
- In the entry list. If you enter a driver into an event, there will be a little blue editing button all the way to the right of the screen for each driver. Click on that link and use the “edit name/city” option. This is a great option for editing information on the fly when a driver is at the back gate.
- In Web Management. Click on the globe icon on the left hand side of the screen to get to Web Management. Use that to go to “profiles” up top and then “drivers.” This Help Center Article will give you more information.

1099 Reports
End of the year time means a lot of activity in the 1099 report! I want to give a couple of pointers to remember in this report!
- Remember the most important step, click that “Create payments” button when calculating points and pay. If you have a night that you raced and awarded pay, and the information is not showing in the 1099 report, go back to that race and click the “create payments” button.
- The Payments Tab in season management houses all of the payout data for the year, organized by classes on each race night. If you go there you can verify what driver got paid what amount for any given night.
- The report itself will show you every payee for the year (you can filter to show only those who made $600+), weather they were a car owner or driver, their address, and how much they made. If you have a driver getting paid who shouldn’t be, go back to the entry list for that night and put in the owner information. Once that change is made, go click the “create payments” button to update the report!
- If any address is wrong or missing, you can edit that information in the Contact List page we discussed previously. This is especially useful for mailing information to these drivers and owners. You can print mailing labels right from the contact list if your information is accurate!

- Additional sponsorship locations for you to sell, not only at Title and Presenting levels but also at Nightly or Class prize levels
- Encouragement for fans both in attendance and at home to engage with the sponsor brands' messaging daily throughout the event
- Introduction to all drivers in each participating class
- Additional reach/promotional opportunities such as the MyRacePass Pit Pass Newsletter (distribution 300k addresses)
