This article documents the process of calculating a lineup based on a pre-programmed formula.
If your lineup formula does not yet exist in the system, you can submit a request or send an email to support@myracepass.com. Please include detailed documentation of the lineup requirements and we will do our best to add it to the system in a timely manner.
Calculating Lineups
To calculate lineups, open the Lineups menu in Race Management and click the green button in the top-left Calculate Lineups.
- In the window that opens you will see a list of lineup options to choose from.
Note: In the settings gear you can choose lineups to favorite so they show in the My Lineups tab. - (Optional) Toggle the box for "Set races to Lineups" to set the race status to Public when the calculation is done.
- (Optional) You can also use the boxes to skip the dash invert and only calculate the first A feature if you have multiple.
- Click the desired lineup formula and click Calculate.
Note: Some options such as passing points may prompt for additional input.
We are always adding new lineups, the currently available options are as follows:
Feature
- A Feature from Heats and B Features - Lineup up based on transfers from Heats and B Features (if available) with optional Dash.
- A Feature by Season Points - High to Low - A Feature lined up by season points high to low.
- A Feature by 3 Race Point Avg - Lineup based on the driver's Point Average of the last 3 races.
- Karting from Heats - Karting lineup based on 2 karting heats.
- Heat Passing Points (Ties to Low Pill) - Lineup for A features based on the passing points from the heat races.
- Heat Passing Points (Ties to Low Pill) - Lineup for B features based on passing points from heat races.
- Heat Passing Points (Ties to Season Points) - Lineup for A and B features based on passing points with season point standings used as the tiebreaker and pill draw as the second tiebreaker.
- B Feature from Heats - Lineup for B features based on heat finishing positions.
- A Feature from 3 week Point Avg (Beta) - Lineup for A features based on a driver's point average for the last 3 weeks.
- WISSOTA Opening Night A Feature - A features lineup for WISSOTA opening night.
- IMCA Opening Night A Feature - A features lineup for IMCA opening night.
- WISSOTA Point Average - WISSOTA three week point average.
- WISSOTA B Feature - WISSOTA B feature lineup from heats.
- IMCA Point Average Feature - IMCA point average A feature lineups.
- A Feature from Qualifying - A feature lineup straight up from qualifying finishing order.
- B Feature from Qualifying - B feature lineup straight up from qualifying finishing order.
- C Feature from Qualifying - C feature lineup straight up from qualifying finishing order.
- Heat Passing Points (Ties to Low Heat) - Lineup by passing points, ties broken by lower heat.
- Heat Passing Points (Ties to Low Heat) - B feature lineups based on passing points, using lower heat order to break ties.
- Hamlin A Feature - A feature lineup according to Hamlin Speedway handicapping rules. For week two and later.
- Merrittville A Feature (with handicap) - A feature lineup for week 2 and later using driver pay as handicap.
- Beaver Dam A Feature - A feature lineup based on Beaver Dam Raceway scheme.
- Adams County 3 Week A Feature - A feature lineup with 3 week point average inverted for Adams County Speedway.
- I-80 Speedway Feature (After First Week) - Lineups as defined by I-80 Speedway for races taking place after the first week.
- Malvern Bank SLMR Feature (After First Week) - Feature lineups according to Malvern Bank's scheme.
- Lee USA Speedway A Feature - A feature handicapping lineup for Lee USA Speedway.
- Passing Points (Ties to Qualifying) - B feature lineups based on passing points, with ties broken by qualifying finish.
- Passing Points (Ties to Qualifying) - A feature lineups based on passing points from heats, with ties broken by qualifying position.
- Kokomo B Features - B feature lineups according to Kokomo Speedway rules.
- Portsmouth Raceway Park A Feature - Lineup up based on transfers from qualifying with optional dash.
- Karting from Heats (Finish Total) - Lineup that sums heat finishing positions with the lowest total finish positioned first.
- Snocross Feature from Heats - Riders lined up by total finish from 2 rounds of heats with ties going to the highest 2nd round finish, then 1st round finish, then first round finish time.
- Snocross B Feature from Heats - Riders lined up by total finish from 2 rounds of heats with ties going to the highest 2nd round finish, then 1st round finish, then first round finish time.
- Multiple Day Passing Points (Ties to Low Pill) - Lineup for A features based on passing points from 1 or more previous days of racing.
- A Feature from Pill - A feature lineup based on pill draw straight up.
Heat
- Karting Pill Draw (2 Heats) - First heat lined up by pill number low to high and second heat high to low.
- Heat from Pill Draw - Heat lineup ordered by pill number.
- Heat from Qualifying - Heat lineup ordered by qualifying time.
- Heat from 3 race Point Avg - Heat lineup based on the driver point averages from the last 3 races.
- Heat from 2 race Point Avg - Heat lineup based on the driver point average from the last 2 races.
- WISSOTA Heat - Heat lineup based on WISSOTA rules.
- IMCA Pill Draw Heat - Opening night heats for IMCA
- Fast/Slow Heat from Qualifying - Fast/Slow Heats with full inversion based on qualifying times.
- IMCA Point Average Heat - Heat lineup based on IMCA point average.
- Hamlin Heats - Heat lineup based on Hamlin Speedway handicapping rules for week two and later.
- Merrittville Heats - Merrittville Speedway heat lineups for week two and later.
- Karting 4/6/8 Heats - Lineups based on two heats with the second heat being an inversion of the first heat pill draw.
- Kokomo Heats - Heat lineup based on qualifying positions, with top invert.
- Beaver Dam Heats - Heat lineups for Beaver Dam Raceway.
- Heats Rolling 3 Week Point Average - Heat lineup based on 3 week average with drivers missing the most recent week starting at the back.
- I-80 Speedway Heat (After First Week) - Heat lineups as defined by I-80 Speedway for week two and later.
- Malvern Bank SLMR Heat (After First Week) - Heat lineups for Malvern Bank Super Late Models.
- Lee USA Speedway Heat - 3 week point average lineup for Lee USA Speedway.
- Heats from Group Qualifying - Heats lined up using group qualifying.
- 2 Round Heats, Random Order - Lineup with 2 sets of heat races in random order.
- Snocross Pro Lite - Heat lineup with the top 8 in points distributed across all heats and postitions randomly assigned.
Qualifying
- Qualifying from Hotlap Time - Qualifying lined up based on Hotlap times. All drivers will be placed in a Qualifying race.
- Qualifying from Pill Draw - Qualifying lineup based solely on pill draw.
- Qualifying From Pill Draw Non-Staggered - Qualifying lineup based on pill draw, straight up, distributed across races evenly.
- Kokomo Qualifiers - Qualifying lineup based on Kokomo Speedway rules.
Hot Laps
- Hot Laps Based On Pill Draw - Hot laps lined up based on pill draw.
