The Purpose of this article is to give information about the "Best Lap" view in MRP Live. There will 4 be columns that appear in the Live Viewer in MyRacePass when showing the "Best Lap" View in the app.
Note from the announcers on staff at MRP: The Best Lap View pairs really well with the "pin" icon in the upper right hand portion of the screen for qualifying sessions. This will allow you to view in a pop up window only the most recent crossing. [Find more information on the extra buttons at this link]
- A - Rank. The Rank order will show the current order of the field of competitors, ordered by the best individual lap time.
- B - Competitor. The Competitor column will indicate the driver name and car number associated with that transponder. If the line says "waiting for data" that means the track scorers associated the driver data with an incorrect transponder number.
- C - Gap. The Gap column will show the difference between that driver and the driver directly in front of him. If the Gap field is blank for a driver, it indicates an exact tie in lap time between the two competitors. If you want to see the gap to the leader, use the expanded view option in the upper right. [Find more information about the additional buttons here]
- D - Best Lap. The Best Lap column will show each driver's single best lap time, and the lap that it occurred on.
Raw timing data should be considered unofficial at all times. Scorers will post official results at the end of a race, which you can view in the "Results" Tab.
