This article provides an overview of the Photo Management features on Media | Photos in the navigation menu.
Start by clicking on a gallery from the list that appears.
Edit Gallery Information - Click the edit icon in the top-right corner of the Gallery Info section. Specify the parent gallery, title and description.
Add Images to Gallery - Click the Add button in the top-left of the page. Use the File Manager to select previously uploaded images or upload new.
Reorder Images in Gallery - Click the Re-Order button in the top-right of the page. Drag and drop thumbnails to desired position then click the Save Order button.
Edit Captions of Images in Gallery - Click the Captions button in the top-right of the page. In the window that appears, edit the title and description of an image or use the red X icon to remove an image from the gallery.
Note: Removed images are removed from the gallery, but not actually deleted.
Toggle Thumbnail Size - Click the Larger/Smaller icon in the top-right to toggle between larger and smaller thumbnail sizes.
Select - Check the Select box to select all images in the gallery.
Add to another gallery - Select one or more image thumbnails, then click the down arrow to the right of the Select button and click Add to another gallery.
Note: Selected images have a green border.
Remove from gallery - Select one or more image thumbnails, then click the down arrow to the right of the Select button and click Remove from gallery.
Applying Tags to Images
- Click the Tags tab to access the form used to apply tags.
Note: Click here for more information about tag types.
- Select one or more image thumbnails.
- Select the desired tags.
Note: Tags are applied immediately when selecting the tags.
- (Optional) Click the red X beside a tag to delete.
