Configuring DNS for a Custom Domain
This guide steps the user through the process of configuring DNS settings for a custom domain after a domain has already been purchased from http://www.driverdomains.com.
There are three components of the configuration process:
- Configuring the A record.
- Configuring the CNAME record.
- (Optional) Configuring the MRP Nameservers.
Configuring the A Record

Open http://driverdomains.com in your browser.

Click Log In.

Enter your username and password, then click Sign in.

In the Domains section, click the blue Manage button on the right.

Click the desired domain from the list of domains.

Click the DNS Zone File tab.

Click the edit icon in the row that has an @ symbol in the Host column of the section titled A (Host).

Enter 52.40.81.245 in the Points to field, then click Finish.

Click Save Changes.

On the DNS Zone File tab, find the section titled CNAME (Alias), then click the edit icon of the row that says www in the host column.

In the Points to field, enter r1.mrpdns.com and click Finish.

Click Save Changes.

Open the Settings tab and click the Manage link in the section titled Nameservers.

In the Setup type section, choose Custom, then click Add Nameserver.

Enter the following values, one per field. Use the button Add Nameserver to add additional fields (you need a total of four), then click OK.

Then click Save on the Nameserver Settings window.

After a few seconds the new settings will take effect. Refresh the Settings tab and you should now see the new nameservers listed.
