Point average reports generate a list of drivers to be used in lineup creation. These reports average the points earned by a driver over a specified number of events, but also order drivers based on other criteria.
How Drivers are Ordered
Drivers are ordered in a series of stages. The higher the driver is on the list, the closer to the front the driver should start in lineups.
Drivers will be ordered byPoin the following:
- Highest number of races.
- Most recent last race.
- Fewest number of disqualifications.
- Lowest point average.
This order awards the highest starting position to the drivers who have participated in the highest number of races, have the most recent last race, with the fewest disqualifications and the lowest point average.
1 Race Point Average
This report lists the total point average for a driver on a given schedule. Drivers that have participated in more races will be listed ahead of drivers with fewer races. Drivers that have a more recent Last Race will be positioned higher than those who have not raced as recently.
2 Race Point Average
This report averages the points earned by a driver in the last 2 events entered on a given schedule. Drivers that have raced in fewer than 2 events will be positioned lower than those who have raced in at least 2 events. Drivers that have a more recent Last Race will be positioned higher than those who have not raced as recently.
3 Race Point Average
This report averages the points earned by a driver in the last 3 events entered on a given schedule. Drivers that have raced in fewer than 3 events will be positioned lower than those who have raced in at least 3 events. Drivers that have a more recent Last Race will be positioned higher than those who have not raced as recently.
