Passing Point Line-ups use the Line-up Points Schemes located in Points/Pay Schemes. You can find that in settings in season and race management. Remember that to correctly use Passing Points Schemes you need to set the transfers to "From Group" in races.
All the individual passing point schemes work using similar methods. All will take the individual schemes made in Points/Pay Schemes. The image below is an example Passing Point Scheme. This is the ASCS Passing Point System and its available as a global preset.
All A Feature Passing Point schemes put B Feature transfers behind the heat transfers. You can see the individual points received by each competitor in the Passing Point Report in race management. You can also select the How Was This Calculated option after calculating the line-up.
The biggest difference between the line-up options is how ties are broken. The different options are detailed below.
Heat Passing Points (Ties to Low Pill)- Breaks ties based on the lowest pill number.
Heat Passing Points (Ties to Low Heat)- Breaks ties based on the lowest heat a driver was in.
Heat Passing Points (Ties to Season Points)- Breaks ties on who has the higher season points.
Passing Points (Ties to Qualifying)- Breaks time based on qualifying time.
Heat Passing Points (Ties to Positions Gained, then by Qualifying Time)- Breaks ties by positions gained in the heat, then by qualifying time)
