The purpose of this article is to explain the new single event ticket Promo codes. Promo codes are a powerful, flexible way to provide customers discounts when buying tickets for an individual event.

How Event Promo Codes Work

Event promo codes apply to tickets bought to the same event and are used to give discounts to users who buy the ticket and input the correct promo code that you've created.

Examples:

• Enter code TEST100 for $50 off a general admission ticket.
• The first 100 fans to use code TEST100 get 50% off an adult reserved seat.

Creating a Promo Code in Ticket Management

Example Promo Code to setup:

Use code TEST100 for 50% off an adult general admission ticket.

In order to manually setup this example, we need the following:

1. First, it's important to have the event created with tickets added already. Also, you'll want to make sure the ticket types you want to include in the promo offer are already added to the event tickets. 
    
2. Click on the "Add Promo Codes" button to get to the following modal:
   
   You can use a previously created offer, or create a new one by clicking "Add Promo Code" in the bottom left.
    
3. When you add new, you'll come to a screen that allows you to add the Promo Code, the offer, Use Limits, and Availability dates.
