The purpose of this document is to go over the process for adding Points and Pay Schemes inside MyRacePass.
Points Schemes
To start, go to Points/Pay schemes inside settings in race management or season management.
From there click the "Add Scheme" button in the upper left and click Championship Points.
Add a name for your points scheme and and a description.
From here you can add show up points before adding points for specific race types. You can copy a breakdown or add a new breakdown (think of a breakdown as a race type). Clicking a new breakdown will open a window allowing you to choose your race type.
In the window that appears you can pick what type of race you are adding points for. You can also choose whether competitors in this race receive show up points or if you want to add championship points for cars passed. Click add to get started with the next step.
You'll now have the option to fill out breakdowns. On the right hand side of the screen, add positions and point totals on a per position basis.
Note: You can use the "quick-add" feature on the bottom of the screen to add multiple positions at once. Simply fill in how many positions you'd like to add, how much you want the top position to start at and the amount of points each position will be decreased by.
You will also see options to the left. Those will let you decide how you'd like to treat different finishing types (DNS, DNF, DQ, BF), if show up points are given to that race type, if passing points are given to the race and it lets you deduct points if the race has fewer than a set number of competitors. You can also allow competitors who transfer to another race to not receive points. You can find that in Excluded Transfers if you have the higher race in a breakdown.
Pay Schemes
Pay schemes work very similar to Points. To start, go to Points/Pay schemes inside settings in race management or season management.
From there click the "Add Scheme" button in the upper left and click Payouts.
Add a name for your pay scheme and and a description.

Global Schemes
Global Schemes are point schemes or lineups schemes created by sanctioning bodies for their divisions. If you are a sanctioned race track, you MUST use the global scheme directed to you by your sanctioning body. If you are not sanctioned or have classes that are not sanctioned, you are still free to use the sanctioned global schemes.
To start, go to Points/Pay schemes inside settings in race management or season management.
From there click the "Add Scheme" button in the upper left and click Global/Sanction.
Choose the scheme right for you, and it will be available when you go to calculate points at the end of a race night.
